Greetings,

I just received via PM this image at the MKR Facebook fanpage from a fan asking where it comes from.

I thought t first it came from one of the "Scenario" books because of the style.  But after looking at them carefully I could not find it.

Do you by chance knows its origin?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello
As promised in the rewatch chat:

This is a quick guide to the release of the Magic Knight Rayearth manga
as originally published in Nakayoshi magazine from 1993 to 1996.

For easiness of identification, I have numbered each installment as "chapter #x"
even though CLAMP never really divided the MKR manga in chapters.

The images were taken from Miss Dream's website.
They have been downsized for the use in this forum.

For bigger scans, please refer to Miss Dream's archive:
https://missdream.org/raw-sailor-moon-downloads/back-issues-of-nakayoshi-magazine/

Nakayoshi - October 1993

There were three images announcing the publication of MKR manga for the magazine's next issue.

Notice the Ashura-like Hikaru, and Fuu's design without glasses and a slightly different hair.  Umi remained essentially the same.

Nakayoshi - November 1993

Title page, promo pages, first and last pages of chapter #1

This corresponds to the original Japanese collected manga Volume 1, pages 3 to 44.

Nakayoshi - December 1993

Title page, first and last pages of chapter #2

This corresponds to the original Japanese collected manga Volume 1, pages 45 to 83.

Nakayoshi - January 1994

Title page, first and last pages of chapter #3

This corresponds to the original Japanese collected manga Volume 1, pages 84 to 121.

Nakayoshi - February 1994

Title page, first and last pages of chapter #4

This corresponds to the original Japanese collected manga Volume 1, pages 121 to 159.

Nakayoshi - March 1994

Title page, first and last pages of chapter #5

This corresponds to the original Japanese collected manga Volume 1, pages 159 to 197.

This is the end of Volume 1.

This is the end of volume 1.

Hello again dear friends.

I recently received this nice item.

It was made by Movic and released in their "Eternal Master Piece" collection just last month.
You can see the other replica swords in this collection in this link: http://www.movic.jp/info/emp/

Took some photos with my new camera, and decided to share it with the fans.

It is a very detailed and well-executed small metal replica.

Lovely in every sense.

I have just uploaded a review of this replica sword to MFC.
You can read the full article with some more photos following this link: http://myfigurecollection.net/blog/28873

And you can see an unboxing video in the MKR Facebook fanpage here:

Kind regards,

Ruben.

Hello friends!

As some of you may already know, last year SuperGroupies
launched their line of exclusive, limited-edition Rayearth items:
http://www.super-groupies.com/title/detail.php?id=68
(which, sadly, are only for sale inside Japan).

But after many months looking for it, I finally put my hands
on one of them: the Hikaru necklace (which I wanted so bad).

Let me tell you it is really beautiful!!!!

If you wish to read my complete review of it, you can have a look at it
following this link: http://myfigurecollection.net/blog/24675

I think it is wonderfully designed, and finely executed.
Really worth the money  :)
