Everyone knows Cephirans live much longer than Earthings, but I am confused whether they could remain youthful.

In the manga, all Cephirans look young, regardless whether the person is a magic user or not. The characters who looks the most mature looks like Earthlings in their late twenties.

But in the anime, we saw some civilians who really look elderly, do you think it is a mistake?

Personally, Cephiran being a land of will, I believe even the ordinary civilians can also remain youthful in looks until the day they die.

I am amusing myself thinking, if Cephirans could stay youthful in appearance throughout their lifespans, parents and grandparents will look just like the older sibilings of their grown up children and even grandchildren...

Cephiro appears to be an idyllic medieval world, however, I always have a feeling that it is more advanced than it looks, or I hope it is or else the knights would have a hard time to get used to Cephiro! Maybe there would be some technology.

I wonder how educated the people would be? Would there be equivalents of Maths and Science? Are there any academia?

Fuu would enjoy talking to the academics of Cephiro, she must be the one who likes learning new things.

Everyone says Lantis and Zagato looks so much alike that they could be twins.

Would Lantis be mistaken for Zagato's ghost when he comes back in the second season?

it is a long time since I posted.

When I watch Rayearth and other stories in which in Earthling ended up in another world. It always baffles me how the Earthing communicate with those people in the other world. How come the people in another world speak Japanese/English/Spanish whatsoever?

Any theories?

Does anyone know where I could see the character design sheets of the characters in Rayearth OVA?
Those with a close up of the faces, front and back of all the characters.

I prefer the costumes of the ova, but now, I cannot find pictures of the ova, especially Zagato, I love the white priestly robes. THE other characters also got cool outfits!

Has anyone noticed in the season two of the anime, the Emeraude's crown floating on that pedestal in the crown room looks different than the one the Princess was wearing when she was alive.

I thought Emeraude's crown got blue and green gemstones, however, the colour scheme of that crown on the pedestal is green with red gem stones and also it got a more elaborate design too.

Strange!

As I stepped myself in Ferio's shoes, I couldn't help admiring him.
He lost his only sister but we did not see him sulking in a corner or crying his eyes out or feel sorry for himself. Although he must miss his sister terribly.
Instead, he took up his original position as Prince,  as a leader to the distraught people.
I loved the scene in which he comforted Fuu who was crying fir Emeraude and he said all he wanted was Fuu's smile, even he must be grieving himself too.

My heart goes out to the brave and chivalrous Prince Ferio.

I will start a chapter involving Ferio and Fuu very soon on my fic, so these days I am always trying to stand in Ferio's shoes.

I am pondering why Ferio would join forces with the Knights knowing they would kill the sister?

In the anime, they conveniently let him lost his memories and subsequently, he knew nothing about the legend.

In the manga, he is fully aware of everything, thus, it is extremely, extremely hard for him to make the decision to help the knights.

What I gather was, Ferio felt to be killed by the knights was the way to release his sister from ther burden without Cephiro getting jeopardized and he wanted to do what his sister wanted, EVEN if he would grieve after the legend takes place. He put his sisters' wish above himself.

What do you think?

Has anyone thought of musical instruments in Cephiro? I wonder if they also have the piano, lyre, harp  flute, violin, trumpets, clavier, harpsichords...etc.

For myself, I think the pipe organ suit my favorite character very much, some dark, grand, mysterious air. Oops, I am talking gibberish again...

Ferio and Fuu are one of the cutest couples in MKR.

I wonder, how was Ferio attracted to Fuu?

I feel there are some similarities between fuu and Emeraude.

Both have massive green eyes(the manga coloring), blonde hair, a soft smile. Both are also very kind and gentle and polite. Was it what drew Ferio to Fuu in the first place?

I could see many people hate Alcyone. Why's that?
I hate her costume, but that's it. I like her actually.

Is it because she is seen as a rival for Emeraude?

There is this thing that I have been thinking about for a long time and had discussed with certain members.

If a magic knight got killed, would he or she disappear off the face of the Earth too? Or could he or she got sent back to Earth and get on with his or her normal life?

It is explicitly said a magic knight could not leave unless he or she saves Cephiro, that is, kill the Pillar. But what if the knights still chickens out?

I know many people here ship Umi/Clef, their relationship is frying my brain at the mo.

What do you think they see in each other? Why did Clef love Umi and also vice versa?

I also wonder why Clef did not fall for Presea, he would have known her for a long time.

When do you tthink the love between Umi and Clef started to develop? Had they started feeling for each other already in season 2?

Maybe it is a silly questions to ask. But have anyone here imagined funny thing the Rayearth characters would do?

Scenes that takes place in your imagination, not in the anime or manga.

For myself I imagine:

-Mokona hiding in Zagato or Clef' s robes when it runs away from Presea

-Lantis and Zagato pretending to be each other on the phone  (or communication devices of some sort) to play pranks on people during their younger days


-Eagle Vision stealing all the sweets from Geo

I better stop here before I offend people, my sense of humour is very lame.

At some point, I was wondering, if a Pillar should not fall in love, why did they not choose a woman to assist Emeraude? I mean, have a Priestess instead?

I know there would be other men around, but won't it lessen the risk of tragedy occurring?

Regarding the situation when the Pillar passes away.

I have a guess that the High Priest or High Priestess would be a back up Pillar candidate, because that position also requires a strong will. And he or she might be the one obliged to take the position immediately once a Pillar passes away, to prevent the country falling apart that is, if that High Priest/ess never fell in love with the Pillar. Perhaps, that was the case with previous Pillars.

Suppose Zagato did not fall in love with Emeraude and did not die fighting the knights, he might be in for that fate too.

Just my musing.

I always wonder, do Cephirans ever age? How long would they live?
Also, do you think Pillars are immortal? Or would they die naturally? One fanfic I read mentioned a Pillar who passed away due to old age (although she looked young).

Have you noticed this weird thing in the anime?
In the anime version, Ferio gave Fuu the communication device  Emeraude gave him. Then Fuu went back to Earth and she no longer had it.

But with Lantis' pendant, Hikaru was still wearing it one year after her return from Cephiro.

It's weird! Do you regard it as an inconsistency?
