Eagle kinda comes with the same Mary-Sue-ness as Ascot, to me... and I am rather of the opinion he's devoted too much to Autozam, Lantis (and then Geo...) to fall for anyone else... ^^; That's my opinion, though. (If you can write it believable, and justify it, then you can really do anything... it just has to ring true for the characters.)
...or, going the other way, you could always pair her up with Presea. ^^ (Or Sierra, if it's an anime-verse tale...)

...it's amazing what I'm willing to ignore in the anime because they got Clef's voice just right for me. XD (The japanese one - I've yet to hear more than five minutes of the american dub.) and also because watching Clef collect potential lovers is hilarious?

I kind of voted Geo... Although honestly, perhaps Earth Knight and Presea/Sierra should hook up and keep each other company while pondering why the world is against both of them (and maybe write emo songs while they're at it!)
