Okay so it's warmed up significantly, but in Ohio the first half of this week it was down to 5?F (-15?C), and that's before the windchill, which got it down to as low as -8? (-22?C). Oh, and the wind, I think it pushed it down colder. Guess who had to wait for the bus two of those days? Yeah, this guy. (luckily it was on time both days, a miracle)
How's it been in everyone else's neck of the woods? I can't recall if we have anyone in the southern hemisphere. (if so, how hot has it been??)
Well, I can only claim Oklahoma here. Wednesday was lovely 70F (22-ishC), then it dropped back down to 28F (-1C) the past few days before it?s about 40F (7C) today Then will be back up to 75F by Wednesday.
Soon, this will start meaning tornados, but we?re okay for the most part this time of year. There are occasional storms because of the odd weather patterns here.
My bit of england's been snowy for the past two weeks - getting warmer now, but it hit -15C before windchill one day, which is INSANE. I don't actually remember if being that cold here before in my life, though I know it probably has, once or twice. Had a day I had to work from home because I couldn't get to the office. Back to fluctuating between about 1C and -2C now, and meant to get warmer, which is good because apparently no one in Norfolk can drive when there's snow, even if it's not on the road, they all turn into idiots........
the most cold day on this winter for us was only 5C (and only in the early morning hours) xD guess i am lucky ^^
It's been in the 80's (F) where I am. (about 27? C)
But I can't say I'm pleased with it.... I enjoy the cold very much. Anything above 75 degrees and I'm sweating.
It must be the Ukranian in me XD
I love cold weathers i feel so sad that in my place we hace very few times like that most of the year is warm O.o to hot for my liking....
AAh I'd love to hear what the weather is like in places that are not cold wet danish summer circling around 15 degrees Celsius U_U
I changed the title of this thread. it was started in January a few years ago and Tea's comment made me think we can re-appropriate it into a general comparing-weather thread :>
I live in Pennsylvania which is in the northeast USA (near New York) and this time of year is off-and-on. most of the time in the summer the weather varies from 75F-90F (24C-32C). right now it's been on that lower number and raining off and on for a couple of weeks, including storms. we get tornado warnings now and then but there's almost never any that actually happen.
I hate the heat so it's been nice having a break from the hot sun and humidity. also I <3 the rain, so I've been pretty happy this week. of course now everything in the yard is overgrown but it's too wet to deal with yet!
it will easily get to 37 the second half of July and beginning of August, and there'll be a week somewhere in there where it's even hotter. then it'll get down -10F/-23C in January. we get both extremes here.
I live in Texas a few hours from the coast on the gulf of Mexico. It's generally very warm here and winters are generally mild, snow is very rare and when it happens we make a huge deal out of it. The summers are generally on average are in the upper 90sF, but it's not unusual for us to have over 100F in July and August. Some winters it doesn't even drop below freezing.
Though this year so far we've had a mild summer, mostly due to a lot of rain (and flooding) in a funny way we did kind of need the rain, to refill a lot of the lakes and rivers that were still very low from a very bad drought we had here 4 or 5 years ago.
We get tornadoes, and the occasional hurricane, sometimes wildfires in the summer.
In general though, it's just hot and humid, very very humid. Bleh.
4.5981° N, 74.0758° W
Cold days.
Rainy nights.
I'm so glad! I prefer this cold climate to a hot one.
Bleh, it's hot and humid here right now. We likely won't cool off any until late October. I think the high today was 96F? And it's dry, we've not had any decent rain since early July. Rain plz! My poor flowers need it!
We had a high of 96 degrees Fahrenheit on Tuesday, then it was not quite as hot yesterday and today we've been getting glorious, glorious rain for at least the last two hours.
Today decided to be autumn!
Seriously, I don't remember seeing any leaves turning on the weekend, today we were driving home with the first golden leaves spiralling down when the wind gusted. AUTUMN!
Saturday and Sunday were CLOUDY and RAINY and CHILLY and I was in absolute h e a v e n like fall is finally heeeerre
today is a bit warmer but cool enough in the house that I can still wear my hoodie and need socks. the rest of the week is supposed to get up into the 80s again though and I'm just like let me die
It downpoured the other day, but we needed the rain so yeah!! ;D
Currently, in Oxford, it is snowing.
And we just walked back from the shops in the rain about 10 minutes ago, and are still damp and cold.
Hot.
tomorrow it'll rain,i think.
8°C and overcast. I miss the sun! And the warm. I am so cold right now! (We'll ignore the anaemia, it's totally the weather making me cold)
The sun has returned! It is a beautiful day today. The sun is out, the sky is clear. It's 21°C/70°F! Once the sun properly reaches the bench, I will be sat out on my bench with a cup of tea.
The weather where I am is VERY LIKE the weather where Mils is! ........It's TOO HOT FOR APRIL. (It was cooler today, but still tshirt weather? In April???)

So fascinating how we tend to get the same weather all the time. I wonder why that is?

PEEP
It's been all kinds of rainy here the past few days.
It's currently 8°C or 46°F.
I keep being very cold again, like I can't get warm, which is silly. It's not THAT cold. But here I am, sitting in the house wearing fleece leggings under my trousers, three tops and a hoodie to be comfortable when the house is sitting at about 19°C (66°F) when the heating is off during the day.
It's storming here, guess the trick o'treater won't have much luck getting any candy tonight, it was really bad about 30 mins ago, but it's starting to calm down now. I'm looking forward to the cool weather the storm is bringing in.
Still nothing but rain here. But it's 12°C rather than 8 now, so that's something. (Probably all the cloud cover keeping the heat in.)
Rainy. Cloudy. Chilly.
Everyone is complaining about this kind of weather, but I really like it - I do love autumn and winter ;D
Autumn came quite late. It was way too hot last month.
Well, I actually feel a bit sick (sore throat/cough), but it's fine. Winter is coming 8)

Rainy. Cloudy. Chilly.
That about sums it up!
I like the cooler weather better than the summer and spring, but this year I'm finding myself wishing there was more daylight for - possibly the first time. We're up to sunset at 4pm, and it's been dreary grey cloud with barely any rain and barely any light making it through for like two weeks now. I'd like a few nice crisp clear days to go out walking (not that you can't in this weather, but the colours are better on a clear day, there's still autumnal leaves about but they just look dark and moldy in the damp-dingyness.
The weather is getting nicer by the day where I'm at. Spring is finally here. haha
