It was the very first time I actually had the guts to finish a drawing with Eagle because he's the one I have the hardest time grasping. XD

while I'm definitely warming up to Hikaru/Lantis as time goes by (whereas it used to be really alienating to me) I still like the OT3 best! I just love the dynamic between the three, how it's not two guys in love with one girl. Eagle loves Lantis and Hikaru, Hikaru loves Lantis and Eagle, and Lantis definitely loves Hikaru and has always been very close with Eagle and wouldn't mind being in love with him, too.
I love the idea that Hikaru has too much love to limit herself to being in love with one person. and I think for Hikaru, being in love with Lantis and/or Eagle is not separate from her being very in friend-love with Umi and Fuu. I mean of course yeah eros is a kind of love, but I think even her love for Lantis and/or Eagle is straight up agape love. Hikaru IS agape love. she just happens to want to kiss Lantis/Eagle specifically.

I love this thread 'cause I have problem (see: not an actual problem) where I can't seem to ship Hikaru in any monogamous ship except Hikaru/Zazu (and that's mostly for funsies and not too serious). It's either Hikaru/Eagle/Lantis or knightshipping when it comes to her. UGH I LOVE IT. <3

I have always thought of Hikaru as asexual and in love with everyone but also married to Eagle and Lantis because come on all three of them are so in love with each other, how could they not be married.
