What do you think is the life expectancy of a Cephirian? Are they capable of dying of old age? Or are they immortals? Immortal in the sense that they dont die of natural cause but rather death caused by murder or suicide (external factor) something like that.

Random thoughts.

1. We all know Clef is somewhat like 7 centuries old and counting and i think he is the oldest Cephirean   we know for sure. Up to what age do you think he could live?

2. Do you think long life expectancy only applies on those who use magic?

3. If life expectancy of the villagers are like those of Clef, how do you think they could manage their population?

Lots of questions suddenly popped out in my mind about Cephiro. It really is a fantasy world but somehow deep in our thoughts i knew you too have some questions about their world. Im not really looking for a right answer because i know i will never have it for sure. Maybe i was just looking for some logical answer, just opinion based answer because i think it would be interesting.

So lets begin the discussion with this topic "Physical Appearance". We all know that Cephiro is a land of will which you could actually will everything you want so you could have it and that includes their "Physical Appearance" for example Clef, Ascot, Emeraude etc. Having the appearance that doesnt match their age.

Im gonna post here some series of question related to the topic and ill put numbers to it so we will know which question you answerd. Okay?

1. Is every one in Cephiro capable of willing themselves to youth? Including the ordinary people like the villagers? Or its just only applicable to those who could uses magic?

2. If everyone (ordinary people/villagers) could will themselves to their youthful appearance why is that there are old people? I mean really, who would want to look old if you have the ability to be young.

3. Can a child will themselves to adulthood? (I was thinking of Ascot who instantly made himself adult)

4. Why do you think Emeraude and Clef chose to look like a child than a teen or on their mid-twenties?

5. Do you think everyone in Cephiro doesnt have the appearance that matches their age?

6. How about Caldina? She is mainly from Chizeta, is she also capable of willing herself to youth? Because she now lives in Cephiro.

I think i have to leave this question at #6 since i still got a lot more question with regards to "immortality"

So back to the topic about Umi/Clef, some may really find it hard to imagine those two together specially on season 1 since their relationship was like a student - mentor thing or cat - dog thing on the 1st episode (which is quite cute). Not even a single hint that those two were going to be an item. I was too surprised on some of season 2 episodes where Clef and Umi did show concern for each other. who would have thought really that Umi would actually have a thing on Clef. Obviously she does have a thing for Clef she just couldn't admit it and i was like (Come on Umi just say you like him!!!) I was really unsatisfied with their story i think it was quite unfair for Umi because she was the only one left without a lover.

I guess i missed to read that short fan fiction you just posted and as i read it i was just like (Oh! my it's cute) Now i can't stop myself loving those two characters... (now i felt like betraying my OTP Clef/Umi LOL)

I really have no idea that this pairing could actually work out for me. I never had a chance to read the manga but I do watched the anime and yes you are right there are no such interesting interactions between Umi and Eagle aside from the fight with their mashins LOL. I didn't know when this pairing came into me. I just find Eagle cute really and to have him paired with Hikaru is like (Hikaru already have Lantis to better stick with that) Then I started to imagine what if Umi is the one who was abducted by autozam... (well that could make a better plot).
