Why didnt I think about trying to fix it? Thanks Rogue! derp. Although if you dont think about it, it gets shoved to the back of your mind. At least most of the older systems are fairly easy to fix. Had to reapply thermal paste in my ps3 recently as its been having over heating issues. Thankfully the motherboard appears to be in good shape.

The time difference between Cephiro and Earth is key, I believe, in this. The girls are in Cephiro originally for weeks if not close to two or so months however they are brought back to earth with barely a second missing. How long would it also take any invading force to get word from cephiro that the pillar had fallen, load transport/materials/ready for invasion, and then travel back to the planet. I also imagine that magic, though prevalent in Cephiro, is more often than not found to lesser degrees than what is featured in the 'Pillar's Court'. The normal laborer would probably be bound by their own limitations on what they believe they can do, and with the Pillar system crumbling I imagine that the Pillar's court would have other things on their mind besides building a tardis like castle. They would need the aid of the normal laborer and this would indeed take time. So you have several factors pointing towards a longer period of time to actually bring everything together while the world is suffering from a cascade effect of being held up by the fraying minds of the populace as word spreads about the Pillar being gone. Remember word would also need to reach the people before their hearts would become corrupt. With magic involved I summarize it would take about 2-3 years give or take 6 months. Certainly a shorter time than any non-magic peoples but longer than if the world was comprised of completely magical Pillar Court types.

I also like to think that during these years Ferio and Clef struggled. Pftt, why do I like angst?

If it was magic cheese, then I would eat all the cheese sticks I could. I wonder if they eat anything fried? Or would you suppose the populace would be too healthy for that?

Clef has so many levels, and they are subtly hidden within his being that you really on scratch the surface at any one time. I think the struggle is highly internal with him where as most of the struggles others face are external in the series.

Yeah, I agree with that one.  I keep thinking that when I hear it, though the "I've loved you for a thousand years, I'l love you for a thousand more" then makes me think of 2000 years, which reminds me of Sci's fic, which leaves me thinking about Umi and Clef having a VERY long life together.

I love cats! :3 Glad to see Im not the only one with multiples! I have six currently. My baby, or rather my first cat Hades (my icon) passed away in 2009 due to enlarged heart that was tossing blood clots. It was the second clot that killed him which completely devastated me since he had survived an earlier saddle thrombosis about four months prior. We had four cats at that time, then after he passed it seemed like kittens were just every where. I found one in my engine block (before I started the car! I heard her crying), a friend of my sisters brought her a tiny malnourished kitten and they called the local animal expert (apparently me?) who instantly took her in, and another one was dumped after her owner moved, and the only boy kitty I got a month after my baby Hades passed away (went over to a friend's house while opening up some lucky packs ,lolita, where her cats kittens were running around when this orange and white tabby just plopped himself in my lap on his back, stretched out and fell asleep. love as first sleep! lol). Anyways too much story and not enough images. Here they are in order :

Cairo ( 9 yr old tortie w/white-oldest) Named after the city Cairo, Egypt. Found by a friend and brought to us as a stray 8 oz kitten with something wrong with her right paw. Not broken but heavily scabbed at the time. One of her claws is deformed and the fur does not grow on the digit. Shes one of those aloof cats.
Freya (7 yr old) Named after Nordic Goddess of love. Completely affectionate and the only pound adopted cat. We adopted her at 10 months, and apparently she had been brought to the pound and gave birth to kittens. They had all been adopted and then we fortunately adopted her! Shes my snuggle bunny. Loves to be held and begs to be picked up and carted around the house.
Echo "Baby Kitty" (4 yrs) This is the kitten that was found by my sisters friend's kids. They brought her to my sister and then called me because she was pretty close to dying. She was all head and no body and not even weaned. We nursed her and she survived. (I love Greek/Roman/Nordic mythology if you havent noticed.) Shes the smallest cat and we constantly refer to her as 'Baby Kitty'.
Alexander ( 3 yr old- only male cat in the house) Named for Alexander the Great. Hes my instant bond kitty. I had just lost Hades a month before when this fellow climbs into my lap. Had this guy since he was weaned and ready to go to a new home.
Metamorphose "Meta" ( estimated 6 yrs) Named for the Lolita clothing line. My partner worked for the local news paper near apartments and started to see this cat. The local shop owners told her a man had moved out and dumped his cat when he left. She couldn't stand to see this cat slowly starve as she was supper friendly and was getting skinnier and skinnier (plus near busy roadways) so we easily trapped her, brought her home, and just to be sure ran ads in the paper for two weeks looking for the owner,flyers in local neighborhoods, and flyers at the vet clinics in town. All the calls we got were for UN-neutered males of the same color (she was spayed and female) so we kept her. Shes so ...derpy. Lovable but derpy.
Persephone (2 yrs) Found her before work one morning. Heard this loud kitten mewling (it was storming really bad) and looked and looked. Finally I located her under the hood of my car, saddled by the engine block. Shes the food hound of the house.

We also have my mother's Pom here, Rastus or 'Rat'. Cute but a total turd.

anyways, I could write a book. lol Love my babies. But I think we all do.
