I want to write AU Rayearth fanfiction smut, change the names, publish it, and have it become more popular than 50 Shades of Crap.  This seems like a perfectly reasonable goal to me.  Well, the first three... the third isn't my choice, is it? 

But then again, anything is better than poorly plotted Twilight fic, right? Even Twilight.  (no offense to anyone who actually enjoys the brainlessness as a guilty pleasure)


Now to see if I can come up with a decent plot, or at least a series of events that leads to ridiculous amounts of PWP.

PLOT? Who said it needed a plot?! PWOP ftw! jkjk (but seriously did 50 shades have a plot? I don't even know what the premise of the story is besides a poor college girl getting dom'd by this rich closed off dude)

I am plainly biased towards stories in which Umi is Clef's bodyguard, but this one is GLEEFUL. :DDDDDDD

Okay. Okay.  So I currently have magic!sex....  assassins, explosions, wagers on whether umi/clef will kill each other or end up in bed together (as you do), political unrest, class division, and hackers.....

I'm not sure if this is going to be total crap, or completely amazing.  But it currently wants to be at least two if not three parts.

Well, I think this story may be too plot heavy to count as just smut. Because it seems the plot might actually be able to hold its own and get you to *gasp* CARE about the characters.   

I am writing something that might end up being mostly PWP with a hint of a plot threading it all together, we'll see what comes of it.

It would seem that the original AU plot idea has indeed become just that  a PLOT.  It really seems like it will be a very interesting plot, but it is not what I was aiming for, given it started as me trying to write my own smutty AU that was better than the crazy popular one.  But the biggest problem is that the PLOT is actually sort of fun and I am having a blast writing it when I do, so I think this might actually end up being a fun story, even if it is not what I originally intended to write.  There will be sex in it, but ?Umi and Clef? would rather me leave out the majority of the details, and are now just allowing me to know of the two incidents that actually move the plot and nothing else.

But...  I do have that second story going quite well.  It is U/C as well (who else, right?). I?ve mentioned it down in the plot bunny section, but have been playing with alternate names as personalities shift on me.  Umi is a princess who is convinced by her companion, Caldina (of course) to seduce someone at the ball. Not only does the stranger she seduces anonymously turn out to be the master mage, he is also to become her final magic tutor....  It?s a silly plot that leads to much smut and romance, because sanity is highly over rated and I like pointless fluff with a bit of teenage angst in it.
