I'm seriously considering catching a fight to the UK in late april, possibly early may (if my finances hold). I'll likely stalk Down, as I said I'd cosplay with her at castle ruins, but would anyone else be interested in meeting up?

I think it would be hilarious to get a group of us together in real life. Hell, we could watch the anime and ridicule it in real time, not chat, even.

This would be amazing! Unfortunately, I've never been to the UK and I'm not sure when I can arrange it :( :( But defs keep us updated on the off chance I may go.

ON THE OTHER NOTE. There is a high probability I will be back in Japan sometime during the summer *hint hint hint guys*

It would be amazing but i cant join in, I am already planning a trip to Japan and i have monies only for one trip, Japan or UK,  I have to choose Japan sorry guys i have several friens to visit there xD still if you guys manage to get together do let us know and post pics ! i bet it will be fun. Hope you manage to do that.

If I had the money and the ability to get to Japan I WOULD BE VOTING JAPAN TOO but alas I DO NOT, I shall sit and mournfully go through my photos and pretend I'm getting better at learning kanji. XD

On the other hand as I seem to have failed to say this: UK IS GOOD I AM ALREADY HERE. XD I need warning for time off work and I'm not particularly mobile due to needing kitchen access (gah food) but I CAN TAKE FOOD WITH ME HERE.

also I hope everyone who goes to Japan has an AWESOME TIME :D (Take the Yurikamome over Rainbow Bridge and wave to the Fuji TV building for me? XDDDDDDD)

I will be arriving at Sendai the i will go to Ebetsu (Hokkaido) then to Osaka & Kyoto after that i will return to Sendai but if i manage to stay a few days a Tokyo i would do what you requested : ) going to Daiba is always fun.

Do you read Gate 7? Any plans on going to Kitano Tenmangu??? I miss my favourite shrineeeeeeeeeee (also if you get there on a day when the market is on the takoyaki stall tends to be an AWESOME one, if you like takoyaki :DDDDDDDD It was, anyway. It's been so long now this may have changed DDDDDDD: But cheap secondhand kimono~! So much awesome fabric~~~ I wanted to buy a go board there once but couldn't figure out how I'd safely ship it back to the UK ^^; And the best okonomiyaki shop in the city is about ten minutes walk away. :DDDDDDD JUMBOS I MISS YOU.)

(.......uh. Sorry. When I was in Japan for the year I lived in Kyoto up near Kitano Hakubaicho and I MISS IT SO MUCH sometimes XD)

Hahaha, dont worry i miss Japan too and all the places i went to on my last trips ^^  I dont read Gate 7 but i do have plans to go to Kitano, thanks for remind me that, I will plan it so i can be there near the 25th of the month and go to the flea market, Takoyaki sounds good but i will definitely eat first some yakisoba XD and go to the Okonomiyaki shop *drools*

Have there been any further talks of plans, guys? Where in the UK would the meetup be? I think I might be able to join in depending on when and where it is. 8D (I live on the south coast, for what it's worth, and Revolutionnaire lives way up north from me... and Down is somewhere between us but a bit more easterly. xD)

I am visiting Japan in April 2014! We have free Virgin Atlantic flights (it's a long story), and we plan to spend three weeks there and visit lots of places.

There is talk! TALK! And I am starting a new job role on Monday and looking at the schedule and going AAAAAAAAAAAH WHAT AM I SIGNING UP FOR AAAAAAAAAAAAH but new leave year starts in April and I shoulddddddd be able to get a week off if I can work out what on earth I'm meant to be doing WHEN. But I should have access to the events diary when I get into the system again on Monday!

Mils was talking about late april/early may, and 'descend upon the UK and flail about castles possibly in cosplay' was I think as far as ~planning~ had got, I don't know. XD I should be mobile, so as long as I have access to some sort of kitchen can travel, but I do need kitchen access because allergic to food............ (I'm fine so long as I have a microwave. HUZZAH FOR MICROWAVES. XD)

YAY JAPAN when are you there? If we can schedule when you're in the country that might be best. XDD

(.............if we triangulated the mid-point between the three of us, what are the chances it will be the focus of evil Milton Keynes? *amused*

Name the week, and I am there.   (and place too, so I know where to fly)  I will get a local sim to make finding one another easier (and cheaper).   I need to ask off myself, so knowing sooner rather than later would be.... good?   I might have conflicts.... or not. Depends upon what I want to do with Job 1.   I also will need to buy a plane ticket.

Well, I can descend on Down, then we can come find you two?  Or find a place to meet up and go gallivanting together? Perhaps in costume, or not.

Aren?t we all, nowadays?

Just waiting for word from Down when she can get time off....   I should double check my schedule at morning job to see what would conflict, but I?m planning to quit it soon anyway, because summer, and too much sitting in one space for too long.  I like the getting up and moving about of the nursery....  Even if working anywhere but my typical age group is painful....

We might have a week.   REPEAT! We might have a week. Early May.

Still waiting on Down to let me know if she can get the time off (I?m not too worried at my job, honestly) But I think we might have a week.   I will let you know.

Anyone stalking the forum of the four of us looking to meet up want to try to meet up in the chatroom or on IM at some point between now and early may to discuss details and activities?  And possibly who wants to keep Mils as their pet for the week? ;) (
