As I apparently never told the thread this: this fic settled on being Ferio/Clef and Umi/Fuu/Hikaru without crossing the two over. Not sure how far Geo is ~involved~ in the Eagle and Lantis stuff (asexual/panromantic as usually head canoned so it's always an interesting question...)

I am a huuuuge rock fan, I study Music aaand I've played the keyboard in a rock band... So, here I am! XD
I totally love the idea of a 'dark Emeraude': I can easily imagine her as a kind of gothic-style singer - like Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation), Simone Simmons (Epica), Vibeke Stene (Tristania), or Tarja Turunen of the first Nightwish era...
Maybe Emeraude can sing with an ethereal, dream-like voice, like Elizabeth Fraser - who was the lead singer of Cocteau Twins... if you don't know them, these are two of my favourite songs:

Oh, I knew that - I'm pretty sure she's even named as a soloist for that piece in the "Fellowship of the Ring" soundtrack - I just didn't think that it was as well known that she was the singer for Haldir's death scene.
