Anyone thinking of doing Camp NaNoWriMo this year?  I'm actually debating on it.   You know, compete with myself to see if I can best my word count from November (shouldn't be too difficult).

I tried it both months last summer and it didn't help me.  I wanted to use it to finish November's story, but it doesn't actually "feel" like NaNo unless it's November. :\  So I never discipline myself to work on it. :<

You were right in your guess that if I am sensible or sane, my answer will be no! But. Um. No one should ever bet on my sanity~ (I shall try to be sane. I really will. XD)

Hey, Everyone!!   We've got a private cabin on the camp NaNo site if you are interested in joining!

Camp NaNoWriMo is similar to NaNoWriMo, but rather than writing 50,000 words to finish, you can set your own personal goals.

If you want to hang out with us, and possible write something,  Just PM me or Down with your user name and you can be added to the group.  You need to have signed on to campnanowrimo.org and created a novel for the session to be added, but you should be able to set your word count low, probably even drabble or one-shot length.

It's campnanowrimo.org. Camp Nano is something completely different. ;D
If your headcanon for Ascot's backstory doesn't make me want to cry, I probably won't believe it.

I thought that was the url I typed out.  Obviously, I wasn't paying attention.  Oops.  I was stressing yesterday, so I cleaned the whole house. These things happen when you are distracted.

IT'S ALMOST HERE!

For those that don't know, I'm using the opportunity to actually do something with my Mid Knight Skies plot. I'm a nano virgin, so this is so new and EXCITING!

Kona, I've won NaNo four times (haven't finished anything yet, no, but gone well past 50k every time!) so I'm an old veteran.  so if you need tips on how to stay motivated or on schedule or whatever, I can give u all my opinions and what's worked for me.

I'm gonna really discipline myself to work on WWD.  I started it in spring '13 and to be honest wrote almost all of the 27k within a few months, then have just been picking at it since.  it's around half done and it's time to hunker down and just finish it already.  I'm setting my Camp goal at only 10k, because that's basically pie for NaNoWriMo.  I wrote a 9k smut once, I can write 10k of Fuu-centric MKR fic with my hands tied behind my back.  the real challenge would be to finish the damn thing...

I've lost track, what's everyone else doing for Camp?

Technically I'm down as writing spies nonsense. But I'm kinda wanting to just work on protecting you- problem is most of that's rewrites or adding new between old so I'm not sure how I'd measure it!

Has anyone started a cabin yet? I was thinking of making one but didn't want to duplicate!

I'm in.

I'll sign up.  Has anyone started a cabin?

ETA:  I've created a cabin. Make sure you have created a project on the site, then I can add you to it, if you shoot me your username. :)
