a thread for minor gushing about little things in MKR that you just adore.


I'll start.

I watched the first couple eps of MKR2 a few weeks ago, and when the girls were first talking to Clef and offering to help in any way they can, even by just helping in the kitchen or something, Clef is just like "no, you are warriors" and despite (IMHO) the bad writing in that episode, that line got me really emotional like omg my little babiesss

Funnily enough, I got something for Clef, too. (Gonna refrain from posting Ascot things, if only because I'm afraid I won't be able to stop).

The 3D holographic projection thing he does in the manga? I always thought that was pretty cool. Really a shame that didn't make it to the anime.

Also, Presea's talent for creative punishment. I kinda want to see how she would handle having kids.

how about the fact that the Knights' hairstyles each look like their corresponding element, not even just the color but shapes and way it falls *u*

I always thought that was so cute! Especially Fuu's curls! Always mildly wondered why CLAMP made Hikaru and Umi's design with the curtains matching the drapes, but skipped on Fuu, not that I mind, she adorable as a blond, but still curious.

Also funny side note, first time I read the manga and hadn't seen any color images yet, I thought Fuu was a brunette, Umi a blond and Hikaru had black hair. Hee, whoops?

I raise you one better, the look on the other Knight's (and Lantis') faces when they all hear Mokona proclaim Hikaru the new Pillar. I end up a puddle on the floor every time I tell you.

Both of these are some of my absolute FAVORITE moments from the manga, simply for the feels they create.
