Fuu-centric drabble: ''Chlorine''

I posted this over at LJ, but it amuses me. So I'm posting it here, too. Because my brain is currently fried from classes and I can't come up with a good topic thread yet XD;
I have got to ignore these cracky plot bunnies. I swear.


CHLORINE

"Ohh nooooo..."
Umi turned, still wringing out her hair. "What are you moaning about, Fuu?" She could only see the other girl from the back. Fuu had just begun to unwrap the towel from her head and was staring into the mirror, her face conveying pure horror. "Fuu?"
"I am never going swimming ever again!" Fuu lamented, clutching the towel as if her very life depended on it.
"What? Why?"
Fuu tore the towel from her head and whirled to face Umi, her green eyes wide in dismay. "This is why!" She pointed a finger at her usually cornsilk-blonde hair. It was... well, it matched her eyes now.
"The... the chlorine stained your hair?" Umi's mouth fell open and didn't shut. "We haven't been swimming that much!"
"Apparently it was enough!" Fuu exclaimed, burying her face in her hands.
"Whoa, Fuu, chill!" Umi stood next to her friend, trying to soothe her. "It'll fade!"
"What will Ferio think?!"
"He'll think you're trying to look like him." Umi ducked the arm that swung at her. "Sorry!"
The sound of the door shutting behind them made them turn. Hikaru entered the room, returning from her shower. "Fuu-chan..." she said, inquisitive eyes wide. "Are you trying to be like Umi-chan and me?"
"Pardon?"
"Your eyes match your hair now, just like ours."
Umi flopped on the bed and continued drying her hair with a towel, finally having the room to herself. Fuu would probably tire out before she caught Hikaru.

Drabbles make the world go round.  I have told you once, and I will tell you again.  This makes me laugh.  The idea of fuu matching both eyes and hair like the other two is funny.  That always did bother me that they did that with her, but it does make her match Ferio.  ^_^  We all love the shoved-down-your-throat-since-the-beginning couple.
