What was the last thing you wasted YOUR money on?

Down: Due to complete madness and other English frineds and relations, I knew what you meant by crisps.  Truthfully I think the name makes more sense.

I should be saving money for my summer trip to DC, but instead I have shelled out nearly $200 on my new fandom. I wouldn'ted exactly call it a waste, even if I could watch the episodes on YouTube, but a large screen television is so much more fun than a three inch screen on a computer.

I still think I might order Torchwood, though I believe it is not available in Region 1 format...  Oh well, just means I need to hook up my personal DVD Player again. I believe it is still set to region 3 from when it lived at my mother's for that year. Didn't want the step siblings messing with it. Thus if it can't play it is useless, ne? ^.~

Well, a new car.  I posted about it in the "what made your day today" thread.  It's a nice 2007 Kia Spectra.  It's brand new and before I put my hands on it, it had only been driven a total of 16 miles.

$25 for a book I may never even use.  I hate having to buy books.  What is worse is when professors don't even use the damned books.  *groan* Why the hell does one need a text book for a music class?   My personal favourite was the text book for SWIMMING!!!  *dies*

and the $40 late fee for not getting my tuition paid on time because I couldn't remember my student ID number.

I put down the first payment for a FREAKING GORGEOUS original cel from the Sonic the Hedgehog Saturday morning cartoon from the earl 90s.  These puppies are incredibly, incredibly, INCREDIBLY rare and one this beautiful for $150 was a STEAL.  I still have a few more installments to pay for it, but it's worth every penny.  I've never splurged like that, but nothing's ever been worth it.

And if I have to someday, I can sell it for twice as much as I am buying it for.

Dairy Queen... I wanted a cheeseburger (yeah I broke the veggie thing) and got two. I only ate one and no one else was hungry so that one went to waste. I feel so bad buying and wasting food.

A Nintendo Wii.

First of all, a Wii is a totally good use of your money...Wii sports allows you to exercise and play video games all at the same time!

Second of all...I need to stop buying books.  Period.  I have three shelves now that are all double stacked.

Then there's the British/Canadian editions of Harry Potter 1 - 4 I just bought...

True.  Then again, if my parents saw me using my Wiimote, they might think I was having a seizure.  But then again a couple of things come to mind...Zelda and CSI (interested to see how that will work out on the Wii).

There's a CSI game?

>.> you think three shelves double stacked is bad? poor sci, theres so much more space avaliable to a bibliophile! .... people keep trying to make me get rid of mine.

And a wii is a good investment! And a csi game? I knew they had a pc version but wii... has it already come out?

There will be, if I read a site correctly, towards the end of November.  CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Hard Evidence.  Apparently there will be a Wii version and an XBox 360 version.  If there is a PoS3 version, I wouldn't care cause I don't see any benefit to wasting my money on that console yet.

A history book on The Black Prince, when I'm meant to be studying his son next year, not him? (The son being Richard the Second - who was deposed and done away with in 1399 as the first act of the 'Wars of the Roses'...) I can't help it, I have a soft spot for the black prince! ...>.<;;;

...I think I may just have broken 2000 books in my room. *winces* I have no wall space for more bookshelves, dammit! (...the last 100 or so are nearly all reading for next year and my dissertation at Uni?) I've still got pretty much all the books I've owned in my life... right down to the enormous pile of Enid Blyton books that are in the loft somewhere. ^^;

You may just have beaten my book collection considering I donated three boxes to goodwill. Im jealous you can keep yours, my partner makes me periodically get rid of them.

I bought mcd's.... and once again I didnt eat the third hashbrown.... urgh. I need to stop splurghing on fastfood but my body needs the calories since I burn them off when I work. >.> seriously.

Well, that's not counting the ones in boxes and packed in stacks around my room....and the house...and everywhere, pretty much...oh, and storage.

<3 sci +books

lol. Whats your main genre? (I typically own more romance than anything... >.> but I have good stock in manga and fantasy too).

I last wasted my money on some wet food my sick cat is snubbing. >.> time to go buy him the chicken and liver kind that he usually goobles  up instead of the organic stuff.
