I hadn't twigged to fahren. XDDD  heh. (god, I have to pick up my german, french AND latin over the summer before running into the early medieval chronicles in october... D: DOOMED. Not that any of them should be written in german, that I know of, but english is a germanic language that gets more germanic as you go further back, so it's helpful. XD;;



IT'S THUNDERING! *war dance* Not that it will manage to get much cooler, but it's something! XD I may, in fact, be beginnng to adjust to the heat...?

...though now that I've said that, I've probably jnxed myself... ^^;;;

also, Blair is Out. XD Not that I think much more of Brown, but I feel like I should mention a change of Prime Minister in some way? _{and the temptation to do a victory dance is strong. ^^; BLAIR IS OUT~!}

It is the 4th.  No work, no class, just family and food.  Woot.  I got to sleep in. 8:30!!!

From what I've heard, Martha will be returning half-way into series four, she'll also appear in three episodes of Torchwood.
There'll be another companion who'll be in all of series four.

Oh, and Kylie Minogue will be in the Titanic episode.
And JK Rowling might be writing an episode aswell.

am not dead! ...just feels like it. and this week sucks. (not least, because I dropped my laptop. which now hates me utterly. and half the keys on the keyboard aren't working right unless you thump them.)


and we were going to go see the Gion Matsuri floats wearing Yukata, but it's chucking it down so Yamamoto-san called it off, and now we'll probably have to just go one one of the days when there are so many people you can barely breathe let alone see anything. >.< GEH.



but at least there was new tsubasa to console me. (a more intresting chapter than the last few, imo, as well. xD) and it's not as insanly hot as it was before...

The flu came to my house but skipped me altogether... yay for health! And somehow my long-lost writing muse seems to be returning these days, especially late at night--I guess I just needed to start staying up late like in the old days to find her again. Still, I wonder why sleep deprivation facilitates my writing, hmmm... makes no sense but hey, I'll take it!

Went to London yesterday.
Got there fine and wandered around, watched some Shakespeare and it was all going well.
Until, we were returning back to the Train station, when it said that all trains were cancelled. A train somewhere had ran over (and thus killed) some one.
So then, we were stranded in London. Which is roughly 200 miles away from where I live.
So, we waited around for a few hours and eventually caught a train, but it wasn't our train so it didn't go all the way to Manchester (where I live ...ish), so we had to get off at some random station and then get another train to Manchester.
We eventually got to Manchester at Midnight (meant to have been there at 10), and I had missed my last bus home, but luckily, I managed to get a lift home.

As to what made my day, on the second train home, under the table we were sat at, we found two porn magazines. Oh joy of sweet joys. (Ok, so it didn't make my actual day, it was just amusing)

It was a generally fun day out though.

In fact, what has made my day is the fact that I am getting promoted.  I found out two days ago.  I'll be training for a couple of weeks and then I'll be sitting in my new position as a Shift Supervisor for Starbucks.  I'm friggin stoked!

I had my last class in japan yesterday, and handed in my final essay. (Which was utter rubbish, but tis done!)

heh.

I've been running on 6-4hours sleep a night for about three weeks, now, and thursday night I slept not at all. I do best on 9 a night. Last night? SIXTEEN HOURS STRAIGHT.  (also, I went to bed at 6pm. ^^;;;;;; )

...and I'm still tired!

now I have to pack up my room, and organise pretty much everything before my family gets here on the 26th. ...I also don't get Harry Potter 7 until then, so I'll probably be hiding from the net and the rampant spoilers until they cart it over. ^^;;;

Well, apart from a questionairre that I'm meant to be handing out to people to use when I'm back in england. ^^; (I have...4 replies! ...I probably need 20+, but still!)

*yawns* sheesh.

right. will be back in england on the 13th... will probably be making it back into writing fic about the 18th august? I SHOULD have stuff more sorted by then... though the summer prep for uni will be trying to kill me. XD

I finished Harry Potter.
Don't worry, I'll keep it to myself.

I went to a Midnight Release Party, and then read it through the night.
Only problem is, no one else has seemed to read it yet, so there os no one to discuss it with.
