Regarding the MKR Contest Livejournal Comm.

Okay.  Again, Rae has fallen from the face of the earth.

I was wondering, do we want to continue doing the drabble/short contest? Maybe turn it in to a fortnightly thing as opposed to a weekly contest.  Or even monthly?

Also, if I cannot get in touch with Rae, I think we might make a new one and a few of you can be mods for it, so the profile can be updated.   I think it would be nice to have a list of winning fics and a list of runners up.  It is merely a thought.  What are your opinions?

As my wrist is Possibly Kinda Maybe getting less of a problem, I need to start WRITING again! (I've got into the habit of writing a page and then stopping in anticipation of pain. um.) This could be VERY GOOD. XDDDDD

I agree. I think we need to get a new bandwagon going, with a few people moderating it so as to allow the flow to continue. Monthly sounds good, to me. ^.^ Untill school ends and then Im probably going to be freed up considerably! -_- I hope.

How about monthly with two or more themes (more! ...XD)  or whatever, so that if you do one and feel like it you can do the other too? Or something. Um.

(I'd say ooooh, give the winners an icon each time! Sortof like the banners you get on icon comms? except than someone would have to make the icons. And not everyone may be as icon-happy as I get, so may not appreciate getting a random banner for a random drabble. XD)

Even just having all the things tagged and in the memories of the comm would be nice! ^^

The problem with the current community is that it is run by Rae.  Rae is vanished off the face of the earth.  I am iming her now and again no reply.  I think I will go ahead and make a new community tha tlinks back to the old one, because it would be nice to see the winner's linked.

Who would want to mod it?  I will start taking names now.

I'd be willing, but possibly highly unreliable, considering how much I tend to procrastinate and/or dive into uni work for weeks at a time on occasion. ^^;;;; But if you need more mods? Sure! ^^

Also, I can mod as well.  Monthly rotation schedules or a chain-of-command for all the mods?  :o
I can make award icons/banners, too.  Personally, I think a banner/icon set would be fun, and I need to break out of that 100x100 box, anyway.  And make graphics that aren't Eureka seveN.
