I don't know if that's a good name for this topic, but anyways. I hope you can help me!

My mother is very happy because I started drawing again and she is willing to buy me anything I need.. I need new charcoals (?) and aquarell pencil set.. And drawing ink.  So, have you ever used Copic markers? I heard that they cost 6? each in Finland *gasps*, so they must be very good? I have Faber Castell aquarell pencils and I think they are nice but I need new ones.. Any suggestions.?

What kind of paper you use? I don't want that the paper sucks the ink and "floods"..

Copic is what CLAMP uses, as do many others.  They draw lovely, but they are awfully expensive.

I would recomend copic pens personally. I have a few, and they've cost me between ?3 and ?6 each so look around for the best prices. Also, you can by refills for them, which are cheaper.

I use crayola colouring pencils, they remind me of my youth.
Well, I don't really draw anymore, rather just scribble with biros.

And I've never seen Copic Markers in shops, maybe I just go to the wrong shops.
Should have wished for unicorns.

Ok. Yesterday, my mother bought me Copic Ciao manga-set which includes 20 markers. I haven't tried 'em yet though. Does CLAMP seriously use Copic markers? :s

Yes, they do.  More for the lighter drawn stuff, like Rayearth and CC Sakura.  It is listed in the materials section of the artbooks.
