This coming week, we will watch the first two episodes of the first season. Official viewing time will be from Sunday, 12 October until Sunday, 19 October.

Episodes:

Densetsu no Majikku Naito Shidou!
The Birth of the Legendary Magic Knights!

Chinmoku no Mori no Soushi Puresea
Master Smith Presea of the Forest of Silence

All reactions should remain in this thread.  Thank you.

No one has responded yet?  Hopefully we're all waiting for someone to make the first response reply.  *lol*

Okay, it's been a little while since I watched the first two episodes... but my only real reaction is: OMG Presea = teh awesome!

Though, I wonder.  Forest of Silence means you can't use magic, right?  Isn't the whole weapon in jewel thing a bit on the magical side?  Or maybe that's just a convention of Cephiro that isn't considered magical at all and so it isn't a plot hole?  It just seems strange to me... ^^;

I.... went completely nuts on flailing about while watching and just pasted into comments on the lj thread. Should I repost here? ....Possibly in a more condensed version?? (Barmy = good description of the mess I ended up with. XD)

Down, feel free to post what ever you want here.  Flail more or less, it doesn't matter.

Anyway, as I am a slacker and have also been incredibly busy until this weekend when I chose to go see The Duchess as opposed to watching Rayearth, I have only watched episode one this morning and will likely be watching episode two via my iPod this afternoon.

I think I will rewatch it tonight, as I watched this morning with the English dub track.  I do prefer the Japanese voices. It has been years since I have watched this series all the way through.  This will be interesting. I may end up sitting with a notebook so I can jot down my ideas as I think them.  I was a little incoherent this morening.

Zagato really seems the perfect villain.  He has the evil mirror with which he can watch the progress of the magic knights, and watch his minions hunt them down. I was seriously teempted to chant something about Mirror Mirror On the wall... then I started laughing at it.  Evil mirrors amuse me for some reason.  And then his laugh at the end of the episodes. After he has turned Clef into stone.

One thing I am always wondering... How the hell do they stay standing up on top of flying creatures?  and isn't Alcyone cold?

I'll probably x-post into this comment after tea, then. XD

As for standing up on the creatures - uh. I guess I always thought it'd be like walking along an aeroplane with turbulence, and the knights all do some form of sports so they must have decent balance? Or something. Which, now I think about it, doesn't take into account the wind that would be slamming into them the whole way. ^^;;;

(Alcione's horse appears to be an albino ponyta on fire, maybe that's why she doesn't freeze in midair? *laughs*)

I... never thought about the mirror too much, but yes. Now having Snow White flashbacks. XDD;;;

Hahaha, sorry I haven't replied at all yet, school is hectic... as usual. That's kinda my fault (bad procrastinator). So I'll just comment and whatever.

I never really realized how bright and colourful the episodes were. Seeing Hikaru again was exciting!(It was like, "Remember me?!... wait, you're just a fictional character!" *sob sob*)

Clef was definitely smexy, and yes, I do wonder how they're able to stand up... Let alone stay on if we only talk about Fyula. Fyula's a slippery fish! o.o;
When life gets you down, eat mangoes. They're yummy and delicious <3
