Yes, of course Eagle would have a evil plan for the cakes (I'm pretty sure he has an evil plan for everything) and I don't think Hikaru minds at all because hey she can also get ALL THE CAKE and still blackmail Eagle with it if needed!!! Seriously it's be a never ending circle of amusement between these people!!! Until Geo needs to yell at someone or ground them or something.

I also think Ferio and Hikaru would be great buddies, I don't really have more explanation except I just FEEL it in my heart. They can tease each other all the time and point shit and laugh at each other and have some great adventures.

Aaaah I used to really love this broship back in my early days of the fandom.  It kind of gave way to Umi/Ferio in recent years but I want to explore it again. ;~;

To many posibilities but the ones i like the most are Umi and Caldina'/Tata&Tatra and Umi and Ferio.

I like the fact that she can have this special connection with Caldina, Tata and Tatra that no one else of the characters has.

I once had this idea of Umi having troubles with Cefiro's goverment, like most plots but with the diference of this three persons being the only support she had, and Umi is not pregnant either... of course I must include Lafarga because he is with Caldina but only them believed in her so yeah... because I am kinda a lazy person and the story need it to much work i just keep imagine all on my mind. xDD

Umi and Ferio's relationship is other one I enjoy on thinking, I toy with the idea of the like on a step-brother relationship, being them similar bickering for everything but eing there always for eachother ^^

Also Umi and Lantis are pretty appealing to me, have stories with them in a non friendship way,  but also a frienship with this two could be possible, like both of them being confidents of eachother secrets... Umi with her exuberant presence can be a very discreet person that is why i think this two will click too.

When I did a rewatch of MKR, I actually teared up every time one of Ascot's beast friends died.  I never used to have that reaction as a teenager, oh my. ;__;

Here are several that nobody has mentioned yet, but I believe are really important, I'm sorry because this'll be long...

Hikaru/Her Brothers/Hikari - Like we never see enough of the people left on earth, but I think that they care for her more than brother (or pet for Hikari, in said case). They are shown in the manga and anime to care immensely and are willing to do anything so that their younger sister won't be sad and cry, even though they really have no idea what's going on with Cephiro. Expanding on that, let's look at Hikaru, she doesn't tell them about Lantis or Cephiro or anything, in fear of hurting them, that right there is really sweet~
Like just kudos to the frickin' Shidou household because they're all supportive and nice and it's beautiful.

The same could be said about Fuu/Kuu, since Kuu is the elder sister, she knows Fuu like the back of her hand and gives her some of the most heartwarming advice about relying on others in times of need, she is also seen to be able to kid with Fuu as when she asks about the pastries from the tower, which is really important in a family bond, which they most certainly have.  Kuu is great even though we only see once if I remember right...

Also, Clef/All of his Creature Summons- Just, I was always upset that we never saw as much of Fyula or the Griffin, as I would've liked. But, Fyula especially, since it has a name, you wouldn't name something, if you weren't attached to it. Fyula is a gentle creature by nature, it can be said that it cares for master a ton, for it does anything that's ask of it, and is shown to be happy to oblige and not give any objections or struggle, even though it probably doesn't have to reaction to the summons if it doesn't want to, because Cephiro's whole the will is everything, works on animals? On Clef's side of the relationship, it's kinda plainly obvious that he cares for his creatures and anything and everything that's Cephirian, creatures one and all included, just look at how highly he regards  Mokona...

Did I just rant about a fish? Why yes, yes I did.

Yay flailing about fish FYULA IS AWESOME, I am biased towards griffins because GRIFFINS but Fyulaaaaaaaaa. YES I'm still working on the griffin fic, Trin, don't worry XD

And - and don't get me started on the sibling feels, because Ferio and Emeraude and there will be crying, okay. CRYING. But Hikaru's brothers are gloriously bouncy and caring I do love them so~

Zazu and the knights cavorting about the castle causing chaos (and probably not half as drunk as people think they are XDD) YES. I subscribe to this idea!

Did I ever mention Umi and LaFarga anywhere? I just - think they'd get along pretty well, not wanting to have to put up with other people being idiots (but LaFarga's too polite to tell them so. Umi - is not a polite creature XD). And they're both very WE SHALL PROTECT THOSE WE HOLD DEAR IT IS OUR DUTY AND OUR JOY and I'm quoting the Church of England oops. But they - and Ferio (and Clef) - strike me as having a common thread of fiercely and sometimes pre-emptively protective? (Caldina is too, but she's sneaky about it. The others will come down like a tonne of bricks if you even THINK of hurting those under their protection.) Which they jointly extend to the whole of Cephiro, which gives them something to bond over while training!

I apparently have a thing for writing Fuu and Lafarga!  they have this little relationship where they both point things out about the other in very roundabout ways - Fuu more coyly and Lafarga more gruffly.  but I think they have more in common than one would think.  they're both perceptive, always observing, processing everything internally.  gah it's hard to explain how they're alike but I swear it should come across in scenes I write of them together!

but yeah, she had some nice little moments in that abandoned Ferio/Umi drunken trist fic, and they have two or three freaking adorable scenes in WWD.  I hadn't thought about the previous fic when I started writing them interacting in my current one, I didn't realize til later that I might be the only person who habitually writes Fuu/Lafarga friendship @u@;;;

Fic - LaFarga overwhelmed by a whirlwind of Caldina-doing-something (idk, marriage? preparing for first child to arrive?? taking over the castle???) and Fuu and Umi take him under their wings, which mostly involves Fuu and LaFarga blinking at Umi's ridiculous suggestions or - this isn't even a whole sentence yet IDK something with them steering a dazed LaFarga about is apparently now something I want to read XDD
