My Clef also came out pretty well, but I was just grabbing random hair accessories off my desk so... If you want to see that one let me know... But this one surprised me how well it turned out.

Ugh when you're putting away fabric bolts at work and keep picking out fabrics that suit the characters.  But there's no reason for you to buy any because you don't sew and don't have any ideas for fabric-related fanworks anyway but THAT FABRIC IS SCREAMING FUU and you just want to look at it for a while. 

(can't even get swatches, have to get an eighth of a yard and that's just width, you'd be stuck with 40"+ of fabric for no reason other than fannish whims)
