we should start a little club.  we just need a Hikaru person to get married on August 8th.

(Honestly not sure Down and me being in the same house indefinitely will be safe for the fandom, but we have managed some fun silliness when putting our minds together on fic, so it might not be too bad.)

It has been an interesting year.  Definitely agree there. But a fun adventure nonetheless.

aah that would be me!  I wanted to get married the first half or so of December and the 12th happened to be a Saturday soo it all kind of fell into place. XD

Well the other date we were joking about was 27 May, because it is right between our birthdays.  Which would then give us an excuse to have a party week every year.  Birthdays and anniversary celebration holidays of course.  But 3 March is also sooner and would have us both cackling forever.

And yes, Down's right, the date is tentative, for many reasons, especially making sure we could actually live together more than a week long holiday.  It also will depend upon when/if the visa is approved, but we need a date and proof we are planning to actually be married for the fianc?e visa, so we are currently planning the wedding, deposits and all, to have all the paperwork sorted to send to UKVI.  SO MUCH PAPERWORK!!!

Sorry you can't come, but yes, we will certainly have to meet-up on that side of the Atlantic soon.  We plan to have space for guests when we're settled, so could definitely host something in a year or so, so long as things work out from all angles.

that's totally understandable!  my parents have been the same when I was living with them.  I can email you, I still have your email address, or you can shoot me a message letting me know what she needs.  (one time I even talked on the phone with a friend's mother to make her feel better before my friend visited me.  my friend was 19 or 20 at the time, I think.)

I was considering this, but I figured things might be awkward/unknown comfort level with me seeing as how I'd be the only guy potentially going.  Hell, I'm probably the only guy on the forum.

That being said, if people would like for me to go, that's cool.  If not, that's cool too.  No hard feelings.  I can understand that there would potentially be an uneasy feeling.  Hence why I leave that to you...and as I said, if not, no hard feelings.

personally that's okay with me, Rogue!  especially since there'll be a handful of headstrong ladies there (as opposed to meeting a strange dude alone) I'd be comfortable with that, but it's up to Mils if it's at her house!  (overnighting might be a different story, though, but again I think I likely would be okay with it.)
