I think this is the right place to put this.

I'm not even sure if I'm going to write this fic (I really want to, though!), but if I'm going to attempt it, I need to figure something out first.

For a main part of the plot to work, I have to have some reason for Fuu and Ferio to have a big fight. But, for the life of me, I can't think of something big enough for them to fight about because I'm slow.

And I know that there are a lot of FuuFerio fans on here... and I was wondering if any of you have any ideas? It could be anything, just something big enough for Fuu (or Ferio) to stay mad for a while.

And if someone says because Umi and Ferio slept together, I think I might strangle myself with the phone cord next to the laptop. Suzanami is the ONLY one that can pull that off. XDD

The thing is, Fuu/Ferio are so much that little fairy tale couple by the second season, it's HARD to come up with stuff to make them spat (and keep it in-character). Trust me, I'd know.

Fuu tends to be pretty unselfish and adaptable, so I can see her being angry with him when he's being selfish and/or stubborn. How angry depends on the situation. Ferio? Mad at Fuu? That's even harder. Fuu's hard to be angry with as she's very easy to get along with. I mean, she wouldn't yell at him for leaving the seat up, she'd just keep putting it back down. She's pretty passive. If she was passive-agressive, it'd be easier, but nooo, she's just plain old passive. The way I see them fighting most often is when it's more his fault for something, then she gets angry with him. Ferio strikes me as being really defensive, so he gets huffy right back and then they don't talk for a day. XD;

Let's see. What has made her angry at him in canon?
When she saw him with another woman. Even though there was totally nothing there, she was very cold to him and was having some self-confidence issues. Man, is she cold (and short!) when she's angry. But by season two, I doubt she feels any real threat in such a department; the boy's obviously enamored silly with her. But she gets really angry when he's reckless~ even for her sake. Then she denies that she's upset. XDD All important angry!Fuu characterization, as we don't see her ticked off very often.

So if she was crazy-jealous about something, she could be cold to him for days if no one knocks sense into her.
Maybe if he was hiding something from her~ she'd be curious, then annoyed, then mad at him if he continued keeping something from her. :O And he'd be mad that she's mad. Uh.. >_>;
If she wasn't paying enough attention to him, he'd be annoyed. If they each see an issue differently and can't come to a compromise...


I can't think of anything specifically. D: Sorry... just some sketchy situations. I tried, and failed. *hangs head* I guess I'm not very inspired today.
If I knew more about the story, I might be able to come up with something...

Ferio suddenly keeps thinking that he's not good enough for Fuu, and because of these thoughts, he keeps on pushing poor Fuu-chan away.

Well ... Hm. It seems that a lot of couples tend to have those thoughts at some point during the relationship, so I have no doubt that either Ferio or Fuu would think that way at some point ... ^^; But like you said(and I agree!), they're such a fairytale coupling by Rayearth II. Fairytale couplings are like .. 'Ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after, the end,' soooo .. it's a very contradictory subject. xD; In some ways.

I think I'm probably going to end up with something like that. That's the plausible-est thing that I can think of that would fit the two of them. Maybe it's also because Fuu doesn't strike me as a very confident person. Actually, none of the Magic Knights strike me as being very confident about guys.

Really, thanks, you guys! I think I have some ideas now. Now that I've got that figured out, I might be able to write it on our six hour drive back to home from the beach!
