I might do some platonic Umi/Clef drabblings for that week, since WHILE I APPRECIATE YR SHIP AND WISH Y'ALL THE BEST, I still see their manga relationship as a very close sort of mentor type thing. (I might draw them making out or whatever for you yahoos though ♡)

Just as an FYI, if anyone wants manga scans for fanworks for the week, I have a printer/scanner that I'm willing to employ for them, as well as a large number of things that I've already scanned.

oh man, that would be really super helpful!  there's not very nice scans online (as far as a comilation of the entire manga to choose from)  maybe you could post the ones you already have someplace in a gallery (Flickr or even Photobucket or something) if you want to.  either way, maybe make a topic here for people to request?  I haven't made too many plans yet, so I'll let you know if I need something! :D

I've started a request thread and linked to the appropriate Photobucket album in the thread. Thus far, I've only posted scans that seem like they would be useful for shipping week fanworks in the album. Should I go ahead and post the rest of them there?

OKAY SO if I'm going with gen instead of shipping for a week am I allowed to tag it as 'Ascot week' instead of 'Ascot x Umi week' because I am a terrible terrible shipper of not-that and apparently my brain is having issues with the concept of tagging stuff on my tumblr with that in the tag. Because I'm terrible. ^^; I'd still be tagging for the challenge??? And the character?

Though honestly I also really don't want to be misleading any poor souls who click through the tag looking for their pairing and end up with - me, really, um.

fair enough!  as long as your tag it with the overall event tag (#MKR Shipping Week Challenge or whatever it is sorry I've had a few drinks) - especially if you're following daily prompts - so that I know to reblog it to celebrate yay!Ascot!! then it's cool!
