Immortality (Random thoughts 1.2)

What do you think is the life expectancy of a Cephirian? Are they capable of dying of old age? Or are they immortals? Immortal in the sense that they dont die of natural cause but rather death caused by murder or suicide (external factor) something like that.

Random thoughts.

1. We all know Clef is somewhat like 7 centuries old and counting and i think he is the oldest Cephirean   we know for sure. Up to what age do you think he could live?

2. Do you think long life expectancy only applies on those who use magic?

3. If life expectancy of the villagers are like those of Clef, how do you think they could manage their population?

Honestly there are a lot of ideas thrown around in the chat and forum over the years, but generally I don't think anyone's put a 'limit' on how old someone can become in Cephiro. Though I personally think people die of old age, most average citizens don't have the strength of will power needed to live as long as Clef for example. Their lifespan is likely longer than a person on Earth, but I don't think anyone's immortal.

I think length of life is more 'willpower' related than magic, though I'm sure magic helps.

I've read stories where Cephiro has a low birthrate, because well if you live a long time, you have plenty of time for children later and are in no rush for them. But I think the average citizen doesn't live nowhere near as long as Clef and Emeraude are/were.

It's clear that the cephirians have higher life expectation than people of earth. I don't think that any of them are immortal, even the pilar, but to those who live on earth it can look like.

Now this is more of a headcanon, but powerful mages, summoners and those who in general know magic live longer than random civilians, so for example the magic knights even being earthlings would live longer if they moved to cephiro, if they wished, of course.
