Possible Cephiran swears, curse words, etc.

Some people might've noticed I add exclamations like 'sweet Mokona s'mores!' or 'Mokona forbid' or even 'Mokona dammit!' to some of my posts either here or on my tumblr just for fun. That got me wondering, what kind of swears/curse words would Cephirans use? What's particularly rude and/or offensive in Cephiro (or Autozam, Chizeta, or Fahren)? What's their trash talk like?

Anybody got ideas to share?

I usually just "translate" such things into english, specifically actual curse words from damn to fuck.  including hell because, well, I usually prefer "natural"-sounding versus "exotic", and I'm sure they have an equivalent to "what the hell"/"go to hell"/"oh hell" (probably three unrelated words/phrases)

but I do have a couple that I use occasionally--

• for pillar's sake = oh my god / for god's sake (kind of PG)
• oh, skies = oh my gosh (G-rated)

@Somariel - thanks, I knew I'd rambled a bit SOMEWHERE but couldn't find it!

@Rev - but would people in Cephiro actually think of cunt/twat/dick/prick/(todger XD) as insulting? I don't think they'd have any gender-based emphasis on them so cunt = same as dick (except anatomically XD) but I'm not sure they're fussed enough by gender/sex to actually use those? Or would they as ~TABOO PRIVATE PARTS~?

............................pretty certain there's no history of prostitution so no Gropecuntlanes in Cephiro anyway XD OR if there were then there's probably a Gropepricklane too.

But seriously do the Spirits even HAVE genitals? Cause if not why have curses which exclude a bunch of your sentient population? OR ELSE the spirits don't particularly feel a need to have genitals in line with human genitals and so have a term which basically means 'you idiot genital-having-person-whose-brain-is-distracted-by-wanting-to-have-sex'

ooooooooooh actually terms meaning 'you idiot distracted by wanting to have sex' might be appropriate, given the whole 'hold a younger age which excludes sex drive' that Emeraude and Clef as high powered people do, sex may = something you're not meant to be distracted by when you're focusing on job/Important Stuff to the point that it's an insult to be accused of it? ONLY can't think of a version in english which isn't coded through prostitution which doesn't seem appropriate at all really. (I don't think they have many hang ups about HAVING sex, just that there are more important things which you should care about first, if that makes sense???)

ONLY can't think of a version in english which isn't coded through prostitution which doesn't seem appropriate at all really. So some sort of terms that basically mean 'get your mind out of the gutter' but also carry the connotation of not being serious about whatever it is you do? Yeah, that makes perfect sense to me.

Maybe 'fuckhead' could work. Like "That idiot's such a fuckhead, how'd they ever learn magic in the first place?" And referring to a Pillar as a fuckhead would be practically blasphemy. Imagine while getting things settled in The Country Formerly Known As Cephiro, there's a lot of chaos and mess in figuring things out, somebody (but not anybody we know) saying something like "Shit, if Emeraude hadn't been such a fuckhead, we wouldn't have this problem." then Clef overhearing and flying off into pretty much the biggest righteous rage fit Cephiro's ever seen.

I agree with Mokonalord that "fuckhead" might work well. Or any other term that focuses on the act rather than the gender of the person doing it.

XD well, guessed the last, but idk, I just think they're gonna be more speciesist and stuff than sexist? Given that will can't be limited by physical boundaries and there doesn't seem to be any surprise at the knights being woman, just their age - they have women and men in positions of power and don't seem to care who is which? They can't generally gender roles if they're down to magical talent/will, at least, that's what I think XD

Doesn't make it a utopia by any means (I bet you could get some interesting class/power stuff going between mages and non-mages actually! And use that to put Ascot in context - fuck, not writing this fic dammit) just - I think they'd have different things to be arses about!
